PressPausePlay at SXSW
4 Mar
I heard about an exciting new film today interestingly titled PressPausePlay. Here is a description of the film from its website:
The digital revolution of the last decade has unleashed creativity and talent of people in an unprecedented way, unleashing unlimited creative opportunities.
But does democratized culture mean better art, film, music and literature or is true talent instead flooded and drowned in the vast digital ocean of mass culture? Is it cultural democracy or mediocrity?
This is the question addressed by PressPausePlay, a documentary film containing interviews with some of the world’s most influential creators of the digital era.
Featuring innovative minds and artists like Moby and Seth Godin, PressPausePlay is sure to do more than merely entertain. It premieres on March 11 at the South by Southwest film festival in Austin, Texas and hopefully will be available for the rest of us shortly thereafter!

Did not like its website. Too much clutter. Sounds to be an interesting made, though.
Good point, Sajib. The site is a bit busy, though its great they place the trailer so prominently, since it is so darn compelling!
